Position Summary
As the Brand Marketing & Communications Strategist, you will develop and execute marketing strategies that strengthen Hotchkiss' brand presence, support lead generation, and drive employee engagement. Content creation is at the core of this role. You will be responsible for producing and managing high-quality content across internal and external channels while also contributing to campaign development, digital marketing strategy, and marketing analytics. You will collaborate closely with the Director of Brand Marketing, as well as teams across sales, HR, and operations, to ensure all messaging is consistent, targeted, and aligned with company objectives.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Content Creation & Strategy
  • Develop, write, edit, and publish content across all formats including blog posts, social media, email campaigns, case studies, press releases, and internal communications, ensuring consistency in tone, voice, and messaging.
  • Build and maintain a content calendar aligned with campaign goals, and direct distribution across the company website, intranet, social media, and email newsletters.
Campaign Development & Execution
  • Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns supporting brand awareness, lead generation, and client retention, creating targeted assets including emails, brochures, and case studies.
  • Coordinate with vendors, agencies, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of campaign materials across events, industry moments, and seasonal initiatives.
Digital Marketing & SEO
  • Support organic social, email marketing, and SEO-informed content development, partnering with vendors to ensure web content is optimized and aligned with keyword strategy.
  • Contribute copy to paid digital advertising efforts as needed.
Marketing Analytics & Reporting
  • Track and analyze campaign and content performance, presenting regular reporting on key metrics including engagement, reach, lead generation, and content effectiveness.
  • Use performance data to continuously refine content and campaign strategy.
Internal Communications
  • Develop and execute an internal communication strategy that drives employee engagement and keeps staff informed of organizational priorities in partnership with HR and leadership.
  • Support DEI initiatives and contribute to employee well-being and appreciation efforts.
External Communications & Brand
  • Support external communications that strengthen Hotchkiss' brand, ensuring consistency across all channels and collaborating with Producers and Account Managers on branded proposals, emails, and flyers.
  • Amplify employee stories and experiences to enhance the company's employer brand internally and externally.
Stakeholder & Project Management
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, maintaining clear timelines, deliverables, and cross-functional communication within the project management system.
  • Serve as a reliable cross-departmental partner, ensuring organizational changes and key initiatives are communicated effectively to all audiences.

Qualifications and Experience
  • Preferred Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing, content creation, and brand communications.
  • Strong writing and storytelling skills with the ability to tailor content for diverse audiences and platforms.
  • Experience developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools, social media management platforms, and email marketing platforms.
  • Familiarity with SEO best practices and content optimization.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Experience with Salesforce Account Engagement preferred.
