Role Summary
The Benefit Account Associate plays a vital role in supporting the Benefits Account Team to provide proactive service and manage client benefit programs. This position involves working closely with the Account Manager and Account Executives to ensure smooth operations and prioritize tasks.
What You Will Do
- Gather client reporting, review data and organize into summaries for benefits clients on a predetermined cadence (monthly, quarterly or semi-annually).
- Support carrier implementations and renewals processing, filling out applications, ensuring census accuracy, carrier connection file builds & providing training to clients when appropriate.
- Assist with client material creation
- Process eligibility changes and set up client invoicing
- Handle local office and department administrative responsibilities
What You Will Bring
- Minimum 2 years experience in Group Benefits working on the agency side or the carrier side, or comparable experience preferred
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Active Texas Life & Health or acquiring once hired
- A foundational understanding of Microsoft Office; comfortable with modern technology
- Desire to learn and grow in the employee benefits field
- Eeffectively speak, read, write, and comprehend English.
